I was a little skeptical because I didn’t think the small lights would give me the reverse lights I needed on my 2024 GMC. The factory lighting is terrible and at night you can’t see anything behind you when backing up. Install was super easy and the plug and play harness was just as easy. I couldn’t wait for it to get dark to see if the lights were going to fix my problem. WOW, what a difference. Those little lights make it look light daylight. If you own a GM truck, do not hesitate to buy the Pod Holes. You won’t regret buying them.
Overall great product. Minor annoyance was having to "download" or "view" the instructions online. For the price, they could have splurged for a few extra pieces of paper,
This is a quality product! Easy to install and look like factory oem! Yes they are expensive, but unique and durable and provide excellent reverse and cargo lighting!
Just installed my Pod Holes on my 22 Silverado RST. Everything went great and fit perfectly! It was actually fun to install them. Took my time and didn’t even damage or break any tabs on the steps or pads. Found it helpful to use a flat blade screwdriver from underneath to depress the tabs. I was a little nervous about drilling the holes but the template was spot on and they lined up perfectly! Everything was plug n play and all quality parts. I dropped my spare tire for extra working room. They work with my cargo lights and great reverse lights! A 7mm nutdriver or deep socket will really help you with installing the pods in to the brackets.

Much brighter than expected. Bad vision, plus crappie factory LED reverse lights, is a bad combo for backing up at night. I’m extremely pleased with the brightness of these lights. I was skeptical because they’re recessed in the bumper step, but they provide enough light for it to not matter.

The kit is great and everything went smooth with the install. If you’re like me and have tinted windows then you know the factory reverse lights just don’t cut it when backing up at night. Now I can finally see what’s behind my truck at night while backing up. I will warn you that when you unlock your doors that these lights do come on. So if anybody is sitting in a car parked behind your truck facing the back of your truck. They may not be happy with you lol
we never fill out reviews, but we have tried SOOOOOO many other back up and flood lights that never shine bright enough, or that look good. Pod Holes are unbelievably bright, and the look is amazing. hidden away in the step, but at the perfect height for backing up or when extra light is needed for loading or connecting your trailers. we can't recommend these lights enough. also, the installation and harness were a breeze compared to having to splice into wires and make sure you get good connections. just love them!
Loved it so much I ordered a second kit for my nephew
