The installation instructions need a lot of work, to say the least. A full and in much more detail installation video needs to be made for this product.
Flipping over the template for the driver side to use for the passenger side is not a solution. For the price of this product, having a template for both driver and passenger sides is not a big ask.
With that said, I was able to get them installed and functioning within about four hours. Dropping the spare tire is a must to be able to have enough room to work on the wiring harness.
This was a super easy way to get extra light on the backside of the truck. Install took about 30 mins and the harness that came with was super easy to install.
Very good fit and easy to install. Like the fact that it’s tucked away and I did not have to cut into the metal part of my bumper.

These things are the freakin bomb! Being a pro angler I’m launching in the dark almost everyday. These lights are absolutely perfect! All other competitor lights blind you when backing down the ramp and the light is always shinning to high no matter how you adjust. PodHole is the perfect height and the light shines right where you can see the entire ramp and trailer, all without blinding the anglers in the boat.
The mount location is genius as well! Competitor brands are bolt on, aka get knocked off from travel or you end up knocking them off due to being exposed. Not PodHole, they are tucked away and protected nicely!
Installation was simple and quick and the wiring was super easy, plug and play!
I’ll have them on every truck I drive from now on!
